Network Connections

Network connections is a tool to plan and inventory network connections within organizations. This tool doesn`t have restrictions to device types. You can add any device type and model in the catalog of models and types, and either specify the number of ports, or checkmark it that it has wireless connections.


Catalogue of models and types

The "Network connections" form shows devices that have network ports. The number of ports can not exceed the value you specify in the catalog.

You can add, edit or delete connections, or assign ports and markings.

Editing

Also, you can either trace the route of the current cable section, or view all the cable sections in the route. For example, here you can see the route that consists of 3 sections and 4 points: from the chief accounant to the secretary via ports 6 and 2 of the network switch in the server rack cabinet.
